This wine is a classic example of warmer Russian River Valley Pinot. Big texture and dark fruit with an earthiness to balance out the concentrated fruit. This wine has been a fun to watch as it develops. Like an ornery toddler, I loved this wine at times, and I wanted to pull my hair out at others. But once the final foil was spun down, I think this is a great example of what Russian River Valley Pinot should be!
