The first vintage of Elevation perfectly reflects what a cool-climate white Rhône should be. The Roussanne was picked at two stages of ripeness, the first very early which gave the wine lovely acidity, bright floral and Asian pear notes but lacked density. The second pick had more tropical tones and brought great texture. The Viognier added those lovely citrus blossom notes and more richness and honey. Finally, the Picpoul balanced it all our with beautiful bright acidity. Together, these wines make a stunning, elegant white wine that will continue to evolve as it bottle ages over the next few months.
Elevate your palate as this new blend of Roussanne, Viognier, Marsanne, and Picpoul elegantly coalesces to offer stunning floral aromatics, delicate apricot, and peach on the palate, followed by beautiful minerality and bright acidity. Salud!
